The Meeting Hall in Herrnhut
The name Herrnhut had its origin in the exiles’ desire and endeavor to live “under the Lord’s protection” (unter des Herrn Hut) or “on watch for the Lord” (auf des Herrn Hut). The picture to the left shows the Kirchensaal (church meeting hall) today in Herrnhut from the garden side. A bust of Zinzendorf [below] is also seen in the garden.
