Zinzendorf came to Zeist on May 4, 1746, and purchased this castle, pictured above, situated at the head of what is now Zinzendorf Road. The drawing below shows the Bruedergemeine in Zeist in 1755. In the center is the castle. The brothers’ house (choir) is in the foreground on the left and the sisters’ house (choir) is in the foreground on the right. Also shown is the widows’ house.
