Konigsfeld: Meeting Hall and God's Acre
In Koenigsfeld is the church meeting hall (Kirchensaal) of the brothers’ gathering (Bruedergemeine).
God’s Acre in Koenigsfeld is typical of the Moravian
graves in God’s Acre elsewhere. “Whatever a Brother or Sister may have achieved in life, in death one could not presume to set oneself above the brethren, even those enslaved.” No gravestone is set above another. Burial is according to choirs (groups), brothers and sisters.
