The Moravian Lamb

 Picture of the Moravian Lamb

Here on the table in the front of the meeting hall is also pictured the Moravian lamb. This goes back to the sixteenth century, the time of the Ancient Unity. The lamb was the symbol of the early Christian church. It was adopted and became the Triumphant Lamb of the Moravian Church. Behind the Lamb is a staff with a banner of victory and sometimes a cross. Surrounding the Lamb is the motto, “Our Lamb has conquered; let us follow Him.” Christ conquered through the cross and has given His life to those who believe on Him. This is the One we follow.
