The Reuss Family Castle

Reuss Family Castle

This is a front view of the Reuss family castle in Ebersdorf, where Erdmuth Dorothea spent her childhood and where she and the Count were married (Sept. 7, 1722). Her father had built the castle in 1696. Her brother went to Halle where he became a friend of Zinzendorf. The castle recently became a government-run retirement home. The picture below is a rear view of the castle.
